Etisalat Academy, the largest single-source provider of training and development solutions in the Middle East, has signed an agreement with Libyan Post Telecommunications Information Company (LPTIC Holding), for the establishment of a training academy in Libya.
Etisalat Academy will assist LPTIC Holding management determine their training needs across their eight subsidiaries and provide support to establish a training academy in Libya. Etisalat Academy will help develop the capabilities of LPTIC’s 14,000 employees working in the postal and ICT sectors through training, assessment and development initiatives. LPTIC Holding is the national operator that provides fixed, mobile and internet related services throughout Libya and the partnership stems from a strong belief that technology is the creative engine of many future opportunities for Libya.
Etisalat Academy will manage the training and development requirements of LPTIC employees either in its own state-of-the-art facility in Dubai or in the centre being built in Libya. The development programs will focus on several areas such as psychometrics and competency assessments, technical and ICT knowledge, soft skills as well as talent and leadership development programs.
