The Chairman of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies and candidate for the upcoming Libyan presidential elections, Dr Aref Nayed, confirmed that the legitimacy crisis in Libya has no solution except for the ballot box through democratic elections.
In an interview with Al-Ain News newspaper, Nayed stressed that the will of the Libyan people should not be acquired by any Libyan entity from within the existing bodies, noting that the Libyan people must choose whoever is to assume the legislative and executive powers which is a fundamental right that should not be denied to any Libyan.
