The head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, Aref Nayed, sent an urgent message to the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame, today, regarding the Presidency Council signing of agreements with Turkey.
In his message, Nayed called on the international mission to intervene and stop this action, because the Presidency Council is not elected, and therefore it does not represent the will of the Libyan people, recalling his failure to gain the confidence of the House of Representatives twice, and Al-Nayed also expressed his hope that the Arab League and the African Union would be the first to withdraw recognition. With this council, which he described as tyrannical and tampering with the capabilities of the Libyan people.
