Today, Saturday, November 23, Prof. Aref Ali Nayed, head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, with Prof. Victoria Coates, Deputy Assistant to US President Donald Trump, and Deputy Chair of the US National Security Council for the Middle East and North Africa Affairs, in the presence of Ambassador Prof. Christian Pak, Regional Director for the Near East, the Middle East and North Africa at the German Federal Foreign Office, regarding the latest developments in the Libyan issue and the preparations for the Berlin conference.
This meeting came as a follow-up to previous meetings held by Al-Nayed recently in Washington with the National Security Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and several US ministries and agencies.
