Dr. Aref Nayed, head of the Libya Academy for Advanced Studies, held a meeting with Dr. Victoria Coates, Deputy Assistant to US President Donald Trump and Vice President of the US National Security Council for the Middle East and North Africa Affairs.
This came, in the presence of Ambassador Christian Pak, Regional Director for Near East, Middle East and North Africa Affairs at the German Federal Foreign Ministry.
The meeting dealt with the latest developments in the Libyan issue and the preparations for the Berlin conference, and this came within the framework of the follow-up to the previous meetings held by Nayed, recently, in Washington with the National Security Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and several US ministries and agencies.
