22/03/2018

The competition began to escalate gradually between the Libyan political parties for the elections to be held during the second half of this year, although no specific date has been announced yet.

Uncertainty prevails regarding the possibility of holding these elections during the current year, but some parties have begun preparing to run for them by announcing initiatives and projects that aim in their entirety to “save Libya”.

Libyan sources told Al-Arab that the Muslim Brotherhood, led by Ali Al-Sallabi, is preparing to launch a series of meetings in Turkey and to announce a “national project for peace and national reconciliation,” in preparation for the elections.
