The Chairman of the Libya Institute for Advanced Studies, Dr Aref Nayed expressed his joy at the safety of General Abdul Razeq al-Nadhuri and his companions, thanking God almighty for surviving the cowardly and treacherous attack on their convoy on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
The candidate for the 2018 presidential election stressed the need to stand up to their terrorism, treachery, cunning and slander, pointing out that we must hold together, unite, consult, cooperate and develop narrow interests and warn against false rumors and artificial news.
“We must all work at the level of the social fabric, civil, municipal, rural and tribal, in a new social contract, which builds a solid foundation of national reconciliation and social harmony and is fit to be based on a strong and prosperous Libyan state,” he said.
“We must strive seriously, as soon as possible, to hold presidential, parliamentary and municipal elections, fair and transparent and we must fail all attempts by the obscurantists to stall these elections, which the United Nations promised to hold in September 2018 and the Electoral Commission has declared full readiness for them.”
“In the face of the failed strikes of the dark men of our heroic army, we must move forward with the rounds of unification of the ancient Libyan army sponsored by sister Egypt, thank you and all turn around the heroes of our army, police, intelligence and intelligence in our holy war against terrorism, its promoters and supporters, in order to remove it from the joints of the state and its institutions and eliminate all its sleeping hotbeds and cells,” he said.
